Privacy notice
What the waitlist keeps, and why.

This notice covers the Shieldryn waitlist page only. Shieldryn is a pre-launch project run by its founder in California, USA. It isn't an incorporated company yet, and the VPN itself doesn't exist yet. Before the service launches, we'll publish a full privacy policy for the product.
What we store

We don't ask for your name, phone number, wallet addresses or exchange account details, and you should never send them to us. This page sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. We don't use analytics today. If we add privacy-friendly, cookie-less visitor counting, we'll update this notice first.
Who else handles it
- Form delivery: signups are sent to us by a form service, either FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which emails each signup to our inbox, or Supabase (supabase.com), which stores it in a private database only we can read.
- Our email provider, which holds the inbox where signups and your emails to us arrive.
- Our web host, which, like any website, may briefly process your IP address and browser details in standard server logs to deliver and secure the page. We don't use those logs to identify you.
Each of these providers handles the data under its own terms. We use them only to run the waitlist.
What we'll never do
- We never sell, rent or trade the waitlist, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We won't add you to unrelated mailing lists. Emails are about the Shieldryn launch, plus at most a short survey about what you'd want. Every email can be answered with "unsubscribe."
How long we keep it
Until the product launches and the founding-member offer closes. After that, we keep only the emails of people who become customers or ask to stay on the list. If we decide not to build Shieldryn, we'll delete the list.
Deleting or seeing your data
You can ask us to delete your signup, send you a copy of what we hold, or correct it at any time. Email [TODO: contact email — set CONFIG.CONTACT_EMAIL in app.js] from the address you signed up with, or simply reply to any email we've sent you. We aim to act on requests within 30 days, and we'll confirm once it's done.
Other things to know
- The waitlist isn't meant for anyone under 18.
- Data is handled in the United States.
- If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and, for material changes, by email.
Waitlist terms
The short version.
- Joining is free and isn't a purchase or a commitment. No payment is taken on this site.
- Features, prices ($9/month founding, $12/month planned) and timing are plans and may change. We'll confirm the price by email before you pay anything.
- Shieldryn is planned as a security and privacy tool. It must not be used to get around an exchange's location rules, terms of service or sanctions laws, and it won't be offered in comprehensively sanctioned countries or regions.
- Nothing on this site is financial advice. Exchange names are trademarks of their owners; we're not affiliated with any exchange.
